Burke Lake Park is open from sunrise to sunset. There is an Information Office located on the right hand side of the entrance which is open 11 AM to 4 PM daily.

Burke Lake Park Virginia Activities
1) Burke Lake Trails
Did you know that Burke Lake Park trails were named one of the "10 best fitness trails" in America? The most popular is the Burke Lake Loop Trail which follows the finer lake for 4.7 miles. 2) 2 Playgrounds at Burke Lake Park Virginia
There are 2 playgrounds at Burke Lake Park. The first one is behind the Ice Cream Parlor in the largest parking lot near the Mini Golf. Next to the main playground is a mini train and carousel. 3) Miniature Train Rides
Riding the miniature train at Burke Lake Park is a wonderful family memory! Rides are $4 per person on weekdays and $5 on weekends. The ride takes about 10-15 minutes and you get to go through the woods on a little red train. I love the Train Depot in the woods right next to the carousel and playground. 4) Carousel at Burke Lake Park
The Burke Lake Park Carousel is located right next to the mini train, playground and ice cream parlor. They alternate times to ride with the train. The cost is $3 on weekdays and $4 on weekends. Closed November to April, see opening hours here. More Carousels in the DMV in this blog post.
5) Mini Golf
Burke Lake has a mini golf course near the entrance of the park which opens May to November. The cost is Adults $8 to $9 with a $1 discount for those over 65 and under 12. More details here. More details on the DMV with Kids Database here.
6) Disc Golf
Burke Lake Park also has an 18 hole Disc Golf course that has concrete tees and is mostly wooded.
