Climb Zone Laurel Favorite Parts:
We finally made it to Climb Zone in Laurel Maryland on a rainy day in March 2023! It was so much fun and truly one of our favorite indoor play spaces in the DMV. My kids are ages 10 and 6 and I would say right in that sweet spot of ages. I saw younger kids probably 4 or 5 but some of the walls might be difficult for shorter legs. There are over 60 walls so your child will definitely find ones that work for their level if they are ages 5 and up.
My kids loved all the different themes from pirates, keyboards, Tetris, Repunzel's Tower to even Mount Rushmore!
My favorite part as a mom was the safety mini-training at the beginning and the ease of the self-belay system.

Climb Zone Laurel Tips:
My #1 tip is try to go when its not too busy! One way to know is that they list all their spots on their website so you can see if there are 150+ spots left, it won't be too busy. We went on a Friday when my kids did not have schools in Virginia but Maryland schools were still in school. Our start time of 2 PM had 149 spots left when I booked at 1 PM but the 3 PM slot was full!
Another tip is to wear a long t-shirt so the harness doesn't rub against your skin. And no matter what time of year, wear a t-shirt because kids get sweaty climbing so high!
They have a small arcade near the entrance/exit where you earn tickets and can get prizes. I'd suggest talking with your kids before you arrive whether or not that is in the cards for your family because once my kids saw it it was hard to say no! (We went ahead and got the smallest card of $10).
