Northern Virginia Outdoor Things to Do with Kids this Weekend
I love taking my kids to the free Fort Ward Park in Alexandria. It has my 3 fav things: a large parking lot, paved trails so bring your bikes or scooters, lots of space to run PLUS: a small playground & history. Read more about our visit here.

- Dinosaur Park Public Program - Open 12 - 4 PM December 16.

From their website: "Fossils found at the Dinosaur Park are 115 million years old (Early Cretaceous period), occurring approximately 50 million years before the Tyrannosaurus rex.
